Wickliffe House wedding, Charleston SC. Emily and Alex

Wickliffe House Wedding,  Emily, and Alex.

Emily and Alex got married at the fantastic settings of Wickliffe house in Charleston South Carolina, we were thrilled and honored to capture this special day.

Alex and Emily met in college, Alex was a senior and Emily was a freshman. After six years of dating long distance and 2 law degrees, they got engaged, and Emily moved to Philadelphia to be together finally! They had an elegant and traditional wedding in Charleston, SC where the bride is from.

Here are few words from the wedding planner Brandy from Sparkles Events who worked closely with Emily to make this day extra special.

“Planning with Emily was an absolute delight. She is the epitome of a Charleston Bride. Although raised in the South Emily pursued her career as an attorney up North while we were planning her Low Country Wedding. The distance didn’t put a damper on all of the wonderful details as her Mom stepped right in & continued to plan alongside us. We used vintage china, white tulips, family-owned crystal, magnolia leaves, & candles to create the perfect dinner for 100 of the couples closest friends & family. The clean tablescapes & momentous family heirlooms were everything! The Wickliffe House was the carefully chosen venue & its rich historical features added to that Low Country feel that Emily desired. This wedding is quite possibly my favorite wedding of Spring 2018.”
