Heidi and Kurt, Thompson Farm wedding. May 3, 2015

This was the first time One Life photography was shooting a wedding at the Thompson Farm in Conway. I was very grateful for the chance because I always love to challenge myself with new locations and the great new photo opportunities that it offers.

The place is definitely filled with country charm as Thompson farm is an actual farm and you always hear and see different animals on the property. The ceremony was held under the biggest oak tree out there, and the weather on that day was absolutely gorgeous. The reception followed at the Bucksville Hall, the decor of it is all made from natural wood that screams of the south, mason jars, sweet tea, and more… The wedding was inspirational in many ways, with so much of the decoration being DIY it really did show the heart and soul of the couple.

We finally had a nice and clear day at the Thompson Farm, the weather had been driving me nuts lately to be honest. So I was super exited to get out and get some shots, with so many little details, like old signs, tractors and other authentic items, I was almost to excited to decide where to start. Really awesome looking rustic barns, horses, landscape, it was amazing! Bucksville Hall decorated with string lights, seriously there was probably a couple thousand lights altogether, it truly made Thompson farm look awesome during the night. Heidi and Kurt chose not to do the first look on their day, so I have found an awesome corner of the building where I placed them without actually being able to see each other. It definitely made a super cute photo. I really loved the signs leading to the ceremony site, they were pretty much telling the love story of this beautiful couple, and all the guests saw them on the way to the ceremony.

When the reception started it was definitely a party, with the whole bunch of people graduates of USC, they were singing their schools songs, doing really cool line dances and drinking good beer.

Enjoy a few of my favorite moments from this beautiful Thompson farm wedding.
