Katie and Rafael got married at the Doubletree by Hilton in Downtown Charleston historic district.

It was really amazing experience photographing this wedding, ceremony been set to start after the sun went down, and that kind of situation presents certain challenges. But in the end pictures look amazing and almost surreal with all the candle lights surrounding the ceremony site, truly a magical feel.

Katie and Rafael were such an amazing couple to work with and oh boy they threw a party, it’s so rare today that the dance floor is moving, on this wedding it definitely was moving, one of the most fun receptions hands down.

Little bit about the Hotel itself. Doubletree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Charleston – Historic District, located right in the heart of the city between Market and Church street, and truly filled with southern charm and feel. Ceremony site located inside of the hotel and yet its outdoors in the atrium with an awesome fountain in the middle of it. I have to say special thanks to Amber, wedding coordinator at the hotel everything was top-notch and very well-organized. She certainly fulfilled all of my crazy requests, and even gave us an access to one of the rooms on the top floor to get some high above views of the ceremony.

Live band that was on the wedding put together an amazing show, great entertainment and really awesome interaction with the guests.
